A Quilt Made in Memory of my Aunt Patty...

Patricia Ramona's Flower Garden
This quilt is a special one.  My aunt Patty realized that I loved to sew.  She decided that I should have her sewing machine since my older one had stopped working.  She told me to take it and not to give it back to her.  She knew that I would take good care of it.  What she didn't know was that I would eventually make a quilted wall hanging in her memory on that machine.  Aunt Patty died of cancer after giving me the sewing machine.  It was originally breast cancer, that progressed into her spine and spread from there.  I loved her very much and wanted to honor her memory by sewing something special on her machine.  I made several items from the same pattern and fabric, naming them "Patricia Ramona's Flower Garden."
